Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data Tryvix collects when you visit our website or use the Tryvix service, why we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have.
The short version
- We collect what we need to run Tryvix: your account details, the product photos and briefs you give us, and basic technical data.
- Your uploads and outputs are yours. We use them to make your images, not to train AI models.
- We never sell your personal data.
- Service providers process data for us under contract, and some of them are outside India.
- You can ask to see, correct or delete your data at any time.
1. Who we are
Tryvix is operated by Tryvix Ltd., a company based in India (“Tryvix”, “we”, “us”). We decide why and how personal data is processed for the purposes in this policy. That makes us the data fiduciary under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and the controller under the EU and UK GDPR.
When a brand uses Tryvix, the content in its workspace, such as photos of its products and the people in its campaigns, belongs to that brand. The brand decides how that content is used, and we process it on the brand’s instructions.
2. What this policy covers
This policy covers the Tryvix website and the Tryvix service, including Studio and Canvas. It does not cover the marketplaces, social networks and other sites you export to or reach through links on Tryvix. They have their own policies.
3. The data we collect
Data you give us:
- Account details: your name, work email, company name and role, and your sign-in details. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google.
- Your content: the product photos, logos, brand kits, prompts, model choices and other material you upload or create, and the images and other outputs Tryvix generates from them.
- Billing details: your billing contact, address, GST number and plan. Card and bank details are handled by our payment processor, and we don’t store them.
- Messages: what you send us through the contact form, by email or other channels, and any feedback you give. The contact form asks for your name, work email, company, topic, a message and, if you choose, the number of images you need. When you send it, we email you a confirmation that we have received it.
Data we collect automatically:
- Technical data: your IP address, browser and device type, and the pages and features you use, which our hosting providers record to keep Tryvix secure and working.
- Usage data: in the service, actions such as runs started, credits used and exports, which we use to bill you, support you and improve Tryvix.
- Cookies and local storage, as our Cookie Policy describes.
On this website, the studio demo runs entirely in your browser. A photo you upload there is never sent to our servers, and it is cleared when you close or refresh the page.
4. How we use it
| Purpose | Data used | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|
| Provide the service: create your account, run generations, and store your content and outputs | Account details, your content, usage data | Performing our contract with you |
| Billing and accounting | Billing details, usage data | Contract; legal obligations |
| Support and service messages, such as security and billing notices | Account details, messages | Contract; legitimate interests |
| Keep Tryvix safe: prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce our Terms | Technical and usage data | Legitimate interests; legal obligations |
| Improve Tryvix: see which features are used and fix problems | Usage and technical data; website analytics only with your consent | Legitimate interests; consent for analytics |
| Product news and offers | Account details | Consent, which you can withdraw |
Under India’s DPDP Act, we process personal data with your consent, or for the legitimate uses the Act allows, such as when you have given us data voluntarily for a purpose. Under the GDPR, the legal bases above apply.
5. Your content and AI
To generate images, we send your uploads and instructions to the AI model providers that power Tryvix. They process them only to return results to us.
We don’t use your uploads or outputs to train AI models.
Only the people in your workspace can see your content. Our team accesses it only when we need to support you, investigate a problem or keep the service secure.
6. Who we share it with
We never sell your personal data, and we don’t share it for anyone else’s advertising. We share it only with:
- Hosting and infrastructure providers, which run our website, app, database, file storage and job processing.
- AI model providers, which process your content to generate images and text.
- Payment processors, which handle payments and billing.
- Email and communication tools, which deliver our messages and pass your contact-form messages to our team.
- Professional advisers, such as lawyers and accountants, under a duty of confidentiality.
- Authorities, where the law requires it, or where it is needed to protect the rights and safety of our users or the public.
- A buyer or successor, if Tryvix is involved in a merger or acquisition, who must protect your data as this policy does.
Our providers may process personal data only on our instructions and under contracts that require them to protect it. We can share the current list of providers on request.
7. International transfers
Some of our providers store or process data outside India, including in the United States and the European Union. When data leaves India, it stays protected to the standard this policy sets, and we follow any restrictions the Government of India places on such transfers.
8. How long we keep it
- Account details and your content: for as long as your account is open. Content you delete is removed from the service. When you close your account, we delete your account data and content within 30 days.
- Backups: deleted data can remain in backups for up to 30 more days before it is overwritten.
- Billing records: for as long as tax and accounting law requires.
- Messages: for as long as we need them to respond to you and to keep a record of our dealings.
- Technical logs: for a short period, unless we need them to investigate a security issue.
9. How we protect it
- All traffic to Tryvix is encrypted with HTTPS, and our domain only accepts secure connections.
- In the service, row-level security in our database keeps each organisation’s data apart, so a workspace can only reach its own content.
- Our team’s access is limited to what is needed to run, support and secure the service.
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your personal data, we will tell you, and the authorities where the law requires, without undue delay.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you are, you have the right to:
- get a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it
- have it corrected, completed or updated
- have it erased
- withdraw any consent you have given, as easily as you gave it
- object to or restrict some uses of it, and receive a copy in a portable format (in the EU and UK)
- nominate someone to exercise your rights if you die or become unable to (in India)
To use any of these rights, write to us from the email address on your account. We will reply within 30 days. If your data sits in a brand’s workspace, we may pass your request to that brand.
If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India or, in the EU or UK, to your local data protection authority.
11. Children
Tryvix is a service for businesses. It is not meant for anyone under 18, and we don’t knowingly collect personal data from children.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Tryvix changes. We will post the new version here with a new date, and tell account holders by email about changes that matter.
13. Contact us
For questions about this policy, or to raise a grievance about how we handle personal data, write to our Grievance Officer at info@tryvix.in. Tryvix Ltd., India.
